After a decade of experience in brand strategy, print design, and digital marketing—I'm captivated by the user experience, from first attraction to long-lasting loyalty. I take a uniquely wholistic approach to design, always starting with a story, digging into the broad vision, and then refining it into thoughtfully curated details. I'm unwavering when it comes to quality, integrity, and pixel-level attention to detail.

In my role as Creative Director, my passions for design, organization, and caring for people coincide. Each member of a creative team brings something distinct and valuable to the table—and my job is to recognize and encourage each individual's strengths, funnel those expertise into actionable goals, and align them for the betterment of the brand.

When I'm not designing marketing campaigns in Adobe, sifting through Pantone swatches, or styling on set—you can find me at home in Fort Collins, Colorado, curled up with tea and a good book or popcorn and a movie. I love to keep my weekends open for mountain adventures with my husband—skiing, backpacking, or our newfound obsession with paddle boarding.

truly, don't get me started... or do.

ask me for my mountain margarita recipe

I'm fascinated by color psychology.

I’ll take Pantone chips over
potato chips any day.

Interior design and nature
spark my creativity.

Nothing tempts me quite like a crisp layout and a box of Cheez-its.

My perfect weekend consists of a hike to a high alpine lake and a cozy movie night in.

My obsession with organization peaks in my Adobe layers panel and artboard setup.

my career timeline

of Designing

A Decade

2012

I spent a semester studying art history and the Italian language in Florence.

I began my work in digital marketing for Elon University’s events department.

2013

my grandmother's art studio

I graduated from Elon University with a Bachelor’s degree in Digital Art.

I worked as the lead graphic designer for Southern Season, a gourmet retailer + cooking school with 3 locations across the Southeast.

I began learning watercolor from my grandmother in her home studio.

I launched Sage Paper Co., a fine art stationery and brand design business.

2015

2016

I started speaking at conferences and teaching calligraphy + watercolor workshops, educating over 300 students.

a career highlight!

2017

I moved from North Carolina to Colorado, following my dream to be closer to the mountains and spend more time outdoors. Two weeks later, I met my husband.

As Art Director for Shanna Skidmore Consulting, I designed + developed sales pages for two 6-figure online course launches.

2019

I married my best friend, Aaron, and honeymooned across Spain.

I closed Sage Paper Co. and transitioned into a Creative Director role at Cultivate What Matters—leading all brand, marketing, product, and packaging design.

2022

I planned, directed and styled my third annual, 3-day studio + lifestyle product shoot for Cultivate What Matters.

hey look, it's me!

2023

Currently renovating and designing our first home, spending time with friends + family in the mountains, and excited for what the next season holds.
